We all have moments in our lives when work takes over. Sometimes; we don't even notice it's happening to us.
It can be 16 consecutive hours in the office, a seven-day work week or a frantic month that seemingly is taken over by keeping up with set goals and expectations in our line of work.
Every single ounce of energy matters.
Many times, however, we don’t realize working should be done in moderation. Our brains are powerful, but they still can only do so much before they start functioning on an inefficient level.
There’s no single right answer to how much you can work in a day, week, month or a year. This post is simply a friendly reminder that every single one of us is human. And because of that, there comes a point when we need to take a break from it all.
Trying to accomplish a large task while “running on fumes” could be the biggest mistake of your life. One bad judgement could have a domino effect that leads to another five or ten mistakes (and so on).
KNOW YOUR LIMITS
Your mind, just like everyone else’s, can’t run optimally 24/7.
Sometimes you gotta take the time to just get away from it all and recharge the batteries.
